The Lost Voice

Today, after a long time,
I found again, the moment to rejoice,
For ages, I’ve been waiting,
To hear again, that nervousness in your voice.

I know, because of some compulsion,
I left you alone, without any choice,
But, only my heart knows,
How I have been living being devoiced.

The music, that we used to listen together,
While, holding hands and kissing together,
It was loud, and it was mild,
And, we used to get lost and turn wild.

That sound of chirping birds, in the garden,
And, the raindrops falling, in a pattern,
Together we used to sing, aloud,
As we walked holding hands, with proud,

And then, when you were there no more,
And, I felt a sense of bore,
That music reverberated in me with a ploy,
Brining smile, tears, sadness and joy.

Today, as I hear again that nervous voice,
As you sung the song of our choice,
I felt like, I am born again with a fresh voice,
A voice together along with your voice.
