Wandering aimlessly, in the Life’s pathway,
Suddenly, I reached a watered subway,
There, I met a shape, made of tissues,
It made me think, on an important issue.
With undeveloped eyes, it looked at me in hope,
Hoping for justice, as if I am in front of the Pope,
And, with pride and determination,
It made the following submission.
“Remember, the night, the time in that resort,
When in the moment of heat, you jumped into the dark spot,
For fleetingly fun, in lust intoxicated,
Without protection, naked, you dated.
One among the millions of sperm won the race,
And, it gave me life, in this watery place.
But, to achieve some false satisfaction,
You are thinking to kill me, through abortion.”
“Yeah, I know, I will be a pain for you,
If not life long, at least nine month, I will haunt you.
And, that pain might make you untouchable, you fear
And, so killing me is a easy solution for you, my dear.”
“But, for a moment, think it through,
Your part I am, and will always be with you,
The world may slowly, leave you so lonely,
But, my Mother, I will always be yours, one and only.”
“So, I am not begging, but asking you to consider
My Life or death, what makes you happier?
And, for your happiness, if I have to die,
I promise you, I will give my life, without any cry.”
Drenched in sweat, as I raised my head,
Unreal it was, it was a dream instead,
A dream, that made me wise with its lesson,
I chose to create a Life, over abortion.
