The Tiny Little Ray

The sun has moved, to the other half of its day
But the luck has stuck, as if it's enjoying its stay
The world seems colorless, with a hint of gray
And the heart is holding, just the tiny little ray.

The darkness, is trying hard to survive
But that tiny ray is forcing light to revive
Struggling to exist, the black has turned to Grey
And the heart is holding, just the tiny little ray

The speeding van, suddenly puts the break
As it reaches, the old rotten closed gate
Lying ahead is a tunnel, with an unlit way
And the heart is holding, just the tiny little ray

The evening has looted, the sun of its heat
Night is knocking, at the evening's feet
But, remember tomorrow, there will be another day

And the heart is holding, just the tiny little ray
